TeacherGuide (teacherguide.co.uk) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Newsletter email address and signup source, when you subscribe
• Account email and authentication data when you create a community account (via Supabase Auth)
• Optional public profile details you choose to share (username, bio, stage, subject, phase, region)
• Community posts, replies, reactions, bookmarks, follows, reports and notifications
• Moderation records needed to keep The Staffroom safe
• Basic server and analytics events once analytics is enabled
• Messages you send us by email

Community accounts

Community membership and TeacherGuide Weekly newsletter consent are separate. We do not automatically subscribe community members to marketing email.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data
• We do not use intrusive full-screen email capture popups
• We do not require your real name or school to participate
